The custom functions described in this book are included in sams-lib.el, which is located in the /opt/share/emacs-lisp/sams/sams-lib.el directory on the CD.
The function sams-apply-macro-on-region is an alternative to the standard Emacs function apply-macro-to-region-lines. It is described in Hour 12, "Visible Editing Utilities."
Cycle Mark functions (cm-save-pointcm-rotate) are used to mark and rotate locations in a buffer. They are described in Hour 8, "Searching for Text in Multiple Files."
