Hour 15: Getting an Overview of a File |

1. Load a large file and narrow to a small part of it. How does Emacs react when you try to go to the beginning or the end of the buffer?
2. What happens when you go to the end of the narrowed buffer and press C-d? Will you delete the text outside the narrowed region?
3. Find a file with text for C, C++, Java, LaTeX, or HTML and try out the outline functions.
4. How does searching work with outline?
5. If you mark text that contains hidden text (that is, the ellipsis) and copy it to another place, will the hidden content be copied too?
6. Try the folding mode. You can, for example, try it with the file folding.el.
